TRI Center Credentials
High retention rates, low positive drug screens, successful program completion, and the continued procurement and renewal of major State, Federal and Private contracts are evidence of TRI Center’s relentless dedication to treating chemical dependency. Our success is attributed to our culturally diverse staff and the intensive training and supervision they receive. The high level of professionalism by our dedicated staff and our track record of success have led to a range of significant achievements:
OASAS Licensure Awarded
TRI Center Inc. Clinics are licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services to provide SUD treatment. TRI Center continues to receive 3-year compliance reviews from its OASAS audits.
National Institute on Drug Abuse Research Study
TRI Center was awarded a NIDA Phase I grant to research the effectiveness of its virtual reality system in the treatment of chemical dependency.
Our Approach
At TRI Center, we embrace an integrative approach to treating substance use disorders, blending state-of-the-art clinical techniques with time-tested methods.
We believe that substance use disorders have multiple underlying causes often manifested in self-defeating attitudes and behaviors. Our treatment is based on cognitive-behavioral techniques that help patients learn to restructure self-defeating thought processes and modify negative behavior patterns. CBT therapy is combined with other treatment modalities, including psychodynamic, family systems, psycho-educational and motivational counseling, as well as complementary practices such as yoga, hypnosis and mindfulness meditation.
All participants in our treatment programs are enrolled in random urine toxicology and Breathalyzer screenings to reinforce sobriety maintenance. We encourage joining an outside support network that may include a 12 Step or other support systems.
We are committed to utilizing all available treatment resources to provide patients with quality professional care.
