TRI Center offers comprehensive outpatient services in The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. We are committed to applying the optimal mix of services, recovery tools and individual professional attention to each case.
Specialized Programs
TRI Center offers a wide range of specialized programs designed to address a broad spectrum of recovery needs. These innovative programs provide treatment options above and beyond traditional therapies, allowing patients to benefit from specialized attention where individual situations warrant.
Specialized Programs
Alternative Mind-Body Medicine
This holistic approach in treating substance use disorder focuses on the interactions between mind and body, as well as the powerful ways social, emotional, mental and spiritual factors can directly affect one’s health. This treatment respects and enhances each person’s capacity for self-knowledge and self-care.
Anger Management
Our comprehensive Anger Management program combines widely recognized best practices. The “REACH” program, developed originally by Dr. Zachary Smith and adapted by TRI Center, has helped hundreds of individuals learn how to effectively manage this maladaptive coping mechanism.
Criminal Justice System
TRI Center is renowned for achieving successful outcomes with those in the criminal justice systems. We have treated tens of thousands of individuals for substance use disorders, addressing patterns of criminal thinking, anger management and domestic violence to enhance overall recovery.
Co-Occuring Program
Our clinical model for clients suffering from co-existing substance use disorders and psychiatric illnesses features relapse prevention strategies for both disorders taught in small-sized supportive groups.
EAPs & Government Agencies
At TRI Center, we have longstanding relationships with local and national Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). We recognize the crucial role of professional employee assistance educating managers & HR about performance issues linked to alcohol or substance use disorders.
Impaired Driver Services/DWI
TRI Center is licensed and accredited by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Use (OASAS) as an Impaired Driver Offender evaluator.
MOUD & MAUD Services
Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) and Medication for Alcohol Use Disorder (MAUD) are used to combat substance use disorders, prevent relapses and overdoses, reduce withdrawal symptoms and sustain successful recovery. These medications relieve withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings that cause chemical imbalances in the body.
Parenting/Domestic Violence
Our innovative Parenting Curriculum and Domestic Violence program are built on our attention to a holistic approach and a non-judgmental approach to change.
Recovery Coaching
Recovery peer advocates play a significant role in the treatment of those living with a substance use disorder. Peer advocate services are an evidence-based behavioral health model of care and support. Due to their lived experience and training, peer advocates provide non-clinical support services, including coaching, mentoring, and connecting those in recovery to community support services.
Women's Program
We create a “safe” environment that promotes uninhibited disclosure designed to assist women with addressing the sensitive issues surrounding their substance use disorders and associated behaviors.
