Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS) & Community Oriented Recovery Empowerment Services (CORES)
TRI Center’s new Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) and Community Oriented Recovery Empowerment Services (CORES) programs are designed to support individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), Substance Use Disorder (SUD), or both. Our goal is to enhance quality of life, reduce symptoms and decrease hospital and institutional visits.
Pre-Vocational Services

Objective: Develop soft skills for employment.

Format: Group or individual settings.

Focus: Attendance, substance-free interactions, stress management, time management, problem-solving and daily living skills.

Support: Individualized pre-vocational plans, monthly goal setting and community-based support.
Habilitation

Objective: Assist individuals in acquiring and improving skills.

Format: One-on-one basis.

Focus: Communication, self-help, domestic tasks, self-care, socialization and relationship development.
Ongoing Supported Employment

Objective: Provide ongoing support to maintain employment.

Format: Individual and group therapy.

Focus: Addressing employment barriers, skill development, assertive communication and relationship building.

Support: Peer support groups and community-based resources for long-term employment retention.
