Telehealth Services

Telehealth is an optional service that allows the exchange of medical/behavioral health information from one site to another via electronic communications.

LEVEL OF CARE DESIGN

Our intensive, highly structured, yet flexible treatment program is built on a Level of Care design based on differing treatment levels and intensity. Patients are assigned a treatment schedule based on the initial assessment and evaluation. TRI Center’s structure has proven to be clinically effective based on a proactively managed blend of these principles.

ALTERNATIVE MIND-BODY MEDICINE

This holistic approach in treating the chemically dependent and dual diagnosis patient focuses on the interactions between mind and body and the powerful ways social, emotional, mental, and spiritual factors can directly affect one’s “health.” This treatment respects and enhances each person’s capacity for self-knowledge and self-care.

PARENTING/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Our innovative Parenting Curriculum and a Domestic Violence program are both built on our attention to a holistic approach and a non-judgmental approach to change.

IMPAIRED DRIVER SERVICES/DWI

TRI Center is licensed and accredited by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (OASAS) as an Impaired Driver Offender evaluation and treatment program. Under New York State law any person arrested for a DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) offense may be subject to a drug/alcohol screening evaluation by a certified provider.

At TRI Center we are experts in providing professional intervention to persons dealing with DWI legal issues. Our reputation is based on our many years of experience in evaluating and treating the impaired driver and on the consistently high ratings we have received from the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse.

MARIJUANA TRACK

Designed to address the denial frequently associated with patients struggling with marijuana dependence or abuse. Geared to meet the needs of young adults, this Track has also proven to be effective with patients of all ages.

MAT Services

Medication-assisted treatment is a kind of treatment used to combat substance use disorders, prevent relapses and overdoses, reduce withdrawal symptoms, and sustain a successful recovery. These medications relieve the withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings that cause chemical imbalances in the body. MAT programs provide a safe and controlled level of medication to overcome the use of an abused opioid. And research has shown that when provided at the proper dose, medications used in MAT have no adverse effects on a person’s intelligence, mental capability, physical functioning, or employability.

RECOVERY COACHING

Recovery peer advocates play a significant role in the treatment of those who are living with a substance use disorder. Peer advocate services are an evidence-based behavioral health model of care and support. Because of their lived experience and training, peer advocates can provide non-clinical support services, which include coaching, mentoring, and connecting those in recovery to community support services.

ANGER MANAGEMENT

Our comprehensive Anger Management program combines widely recognized best practices. The “REACH” program, developed originally by Dr. Zachary Smith and adapted by TRI Center, has helped hundreds of individuals learn how to cope with this destructive problem.

DUAL DIAGNOSIS PROGRAM

Our clinical model for clients who suffer with co-existing chemical dependent and psychiatric illnesses features Relapse prevention strategies for both disorders taught in small-sized supportive groups.

WOMEN'S PROGRAM

Here we construct a “safe” environment that promotes uninhibited disclosure designed to assist women with addressing the sensitive issues surrounding their addiction and the associated behaviors. Creating a clinical environment conducive to disclosure without judgment and/or confrontation is key in the development of this treatment setting. Clinical concentration is placed on the implementation of intervention plans to address relapse associated with the long lasting impact of the addiction process. Individual sessions are strategically utilized to ensure all patients are given an opportunity to engage in the treatment process.

YOUNG ADULTS

Our clinical program for Young Adults (ages 18-24) is designed to support young adults in overcoming addiction and the associated behaviors of addiction. With both an individual focus, and by creating a safe group environment, TRI Center strives to make young adults seeking treatment feel comfortable discussing addiction-related issues without judgment or confrontation.
