TRI Center: Experienced in working with the Criminal Justice System Population
TRI Center, Inc. has a long standing record of service delivery to the criminal justice population of this State. Its longest clinical affiliation with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision dates back 25 years.
Best known for its successful outcomes with the more resistant offenders, TRI Center has successfully treated tens of thousands of offenders for chemical dependence and/or abuse, which has since been combined with Anger Management and Domestic Violence.
TRI Center is also licensed and accredited by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (OASAS) as an Impaired Driver Offender evaluation and treatment program. At TRI Center we are experts in providing professional intervention to persons dealing with DWI legal issues. Our reputation is based on our many years of experience in evaluating and treating the impaired driver and on the consistently high ratings we have received from the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (more on our Services for Impaired Drivers).
A holistic approach to the cognitive distortions, maladaptive coping mechanisms, and criminogenic lifestyle of the offender is an intricate component in the foundation of TRI Center’s Criminal Justice TracK. A unique method of combining the environmental, educational, vocational, and other life areas with the clinical treatment has proven to be highly effective in redirecting many offenders in the direction of change.
TRI Center, Inc. continues to provide a forum to rebuild the offender on a misdirected path as a result of poor decisions, under utilization or exposure to resources, and limited insight into the detriment of their self-established norm. Providing an opportunity to restructure the thinking errors and re-establish the belief system is key in the process of assisting the criminal justice population with rectifying this pathological course. TRI Center, Inc. has worked tirelessly for over 20 years to successfully service the criminal justice population with the ultimate goal of addressing the addiction, errors in thinking and criminal behavior. It is this continued effort that has afforded us a well deserved place as one of the leaders in the treatment of the Criminal Justice Population.
