Our highly qualified team is led by the vision of TRI Founder and President, Jose Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez is a graduate of Boston College and holds a masters degree from Hunter College Graduate School of Social Work. He is a licensed psychotherapist and specialist in addictions. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of chemical dependency and has worked in a variety of settings, both inpatient and outpatient, where he had the opportunity to formulate his treatment philosophy. In 1990, he founded TRI Center, a unique treatment program that employs an innovative holistic approach to addiction treatment. Mr. Gonzalez takes an active approach to running his center by directly participating in the intake process, training and supervising clinical staff, and fostering personal relationships with members of the community who refer patients for assistance. Key Staff: Deborah Greene MSW, CASAC, is the Chief Operations Officer of TRI Center, Inc. Ms. Greene is responsible for the day-to-day contractual obligations for all three of TRI Center clinics. She has over 17 years of professional experience in both residential and out patient settings. Ms. Greene is highly detail and goal oriented having maintained compliance standards for all awarded Federal, State, and City contracts for the past 20 years. Her organizational and motivational skills are key strengths in obtaining positive results and upholding the standards for each contract. Samantha Miller LCSW(Brooklyn) is the Clinical Director at TRI Center-Brooklyn. Ms. Miller has practiced as a social work professional for the past 6 years. Samantha has experience working with a diverse mandated population-providing group and individual therapy to clients utilizing evidence based practices such as CBT, REBT, motivational interviewing and other psychodynamic approaches. She provides clinical supervision to both social work professionals and students ensuring administrative and clinical compliance as well as maintaining a small clinical practice with the Bureau of Prisons. Surabhi Mahajan MSW (Brooklyn) has over 5 years clinical experience working at the TRI Center-Brooklyn office. Ms. Mahajan has 3.5 years of supervisory experience both as an assistant and currently Administrative Director at TRI Center-Brooklyn. During her tenure at TRI-Brooklyn, she developed a strong partnership with several communities and contracted Agencies such as NY State Division of Parole, US Federal Probation Office, NYC Probation Department, NYC MTA Transit, Kings County & Queens County Courts and ACS. She manages an interdisciplinary team of Master level clinicians. Kira Glastein LMHC (Manhattan) has over 4 years of clinical experience working with a diverse chemically dependent and psychiatric population. Ms. Glastein has recently been promoted to the administrative position of senior counselor based on the quality of work, leadership style and experience. |
